Protecting Your Privacy

1. Amtek Engineering Services Ltd. (Amtek) respects the privacy of all Employees and Applicants. You may read our full Privacy Policy below. This web site, amtekcdn.com is owned by Amtek Engineering Services Limited (Amtek). Amtek collects resumes in order to deliver services to our customers. In doing so, we take your privacy very seriously. Amtek has invested considerable time and money into putting in place the right technology and the right procedures to protect and safe guard your personal information from being exploited and misrepresented in any way.

2. Finding a job for you. AMTEK is a consulting company that strives to provide the best talent to our customers. Normally these customers define their requirements before requesting a proposal from us. Our process for fulfilling our customers requirements is as follows.

Step #1 Amtek will determine if a resource currently performing services for Amtek can fill the requirement, without adversely effecting a current customer.

Step #2 Sometimes in parallel to the above or if we do not have an available internal candidate we would review the resumes currently stored at our site.

Step #3 It is our normal process to post the customer requirements at our site in order to solicit as many potential candidates as possible. In saying this not all of our requirements will be posted to the web site, specifically those where we intend to fill the positions with internal resources.

Step #4 Once a suitable candidate has been located, we will seek an agreement with this candidate allowing us to submit their name to a client for consideration.

3. To whom do we disclose your information? Information contained in your resume will only be used by Amtek with your permission. Simply put, submitting your resume to us does not constitute permission on your part for us to use the resume except as stated in this privacy statement. We may create statistical information for redistribution to any source, but we will make all reasonable efforts to ensure no personal information will be included. Your email address will be protected in the same way. In cases where we may work jointly with another company, consent to disclose resume information will be requested.

4. Protection of resume information? Amtek will take all reasonable precautions to protect the contents of your resume. The soft copies of the resume are kept on a secure server in an area that is only accessible to Amtek employees involved with the creation of proposals. We do not guarantee that a determined adversary cannot copy this information. We do not use encryption on the stored files. We do print out a copy of your resume, but this is also kept at our site, which is secured and monitored by a reputable security firm.

5. Our employees responsibilities. Each of our employees is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all personal information to which they have access.

6. Email job alerts. From time to time we may send email to persons in specific categories that have submitted their resume. This email is intended to advertise specific job openings. You may opt out of this by sending an email to hr@amtekcdn.com indicating you no longer wish to receive Job alerts.

7. Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act Responsibilities. Amtek's General Manager is responsible for compliance to the Act. Access requests for updates to personal information should be made by sending an email to hr@amtekcdn.com.
