3.1 Human Rresouces Consultant

Minimum years of experience in this specific category: 6 years

Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:

  • Provides expert advice on and/or performs analysis of the GOL-related HR strategic direction and assists in the development of HR options, aligning and integrating the HR plans with the strategic direction of the organization's GOL business plan.
  • Participates in the development of potential HR models and, after an option has been selected, assists in the implementation of HR requirements and a transition plan to meet GOL HR needs.
  • Provides expert advice on and/or participates in the establishment of electronic means for time off reporting, expenses reports, routine administrative matters.
  • Provides expert advice on and/or participates in making HR policies/information available on-line and providing employee self service for as many HR transactions as possible.
  • Provides expert advice on and/or participates in the development of new programs for employees to retain career mobility.
  • Supplies expert advice on and/or assists in the development/provisioning of GOL-related Demographics, trends and forecasts: HR reports on labour market trends and forecasts

3.2 Organizational Development Consultant

Minimum years of experience in this specific category: 6 years

Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:

  • Reviews existing work processes and organizational structure.
  • Analyzes business functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows.
  • Identifies candidate processes for re-design; prototypes potential solutions, provides tradeoff information and suggests a recommended course of action. Identifies the modifications to the automated processes.
  • Provides expert advice in defining new requirements and opportunities for applying efficient and effective solutions; identifies and provides preliminary costs of potential options.
  • Provides expert advice in developing and integrating process and information models between processes to eliminate information and process redundancies.
  • Identifies and recommends new processes and organizational structures.
  • Provides expert advice on and/or assists in implementing new processes and organizational changes.
  • Documents workflows.

3.3 Virtual Workplace Consultant

Minimum years of related experience: 4 years Management Consulting
Minimum years of experience in this specific category: 2 years
Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:

The Virtual Workplace Consultant deals with and provides expert advice on and/or participates in establishing a GOL-related virtual office environment where networks of people engage in work, but are not bound by the traditional limitations of time and space - they need not work in the same place or keep standard business hours. In order to facilitate the transition from the traditional to the virtual workplace, the consultant may be requested to participate in and/or provide expert advice on:

  • The development of guidelines for determining which jobs and what types of employees are best suited to virtual workplace.
  • The review and development of orientation programs for new employees, suitable to the virtual office environment.
  • The use of research tools to find out what an employee needs to be productive.
  • The development of equipment, software and applications standards for telecommuting employees
  • The establishment of training and mentoring programs for employees to be comfortable with on-line tools for their jobs.
  • The development of telecommuting policies for who pays for what (employee/organization): computers, phone lines, equipment, furniture.
  • The development of skill training for managers who will be managing remote employees.
  • The establishment and management of virtual teams - a collaborate workforce
  • How to manage a 'blended workplace' that is a combination of regular, contract, and temporary employees
  • Employee empowerment
  • How to facilitate virtual workforce social interaction

Supporting the organization's HR community by:

  • Providing expert advice on and/or participating in the establishment of electronic means for time off reporting, expenses reports, routine administrative matters.
  • Making HR policies/information available on-line and providing employee self service for as many HR transactions as possible.
  • Providing expert advice on and/or participating in the development of new programs for employees to retain career mobility.
