ISSSA In Service Support Supply Arrangement What are these positions about? Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) has issued a standing offer to Amtek (which allows this Government department to issue request for proposals (RFP's) on behalf of their clients (PWGSC acts as the purchasing office) The RFP (Request for Proposal) will normally be issued to Amtek calling for resources in one or many of the 4 specific streams. For instance a PWGSC client may require a IM/IT resource and has determined that Applications Programmer is capable of supplying the services. The PWGSC client may also determine that multiple persons are required to perform the work. These contracts can be multi year, or short term. Upon receiving a RFP Amtek will normally utilize it's database of available resources to recruit the best possible resource. Therefore it is important that you are in this database. Keep in mind this data is kept confidential, and you can have your name removed from this database at any time. To be more clear, if your resume indicates you are able to do the work we will contact you in order to gain permission to submit your resume with our bid. The streams are listed below. Click on each stream to view a list of the available positions. For all of these positions Amtek is seeking to augment our existing staff to allow bidding for upcoming opportunities. Step 1 is to select a position within a stream that you feel you are most suited in. Step 2 is to click on the link (for instance Stream 3, Project Management, then choose Project Manager ), which will open an email message. Attach your resume to this email and send it to Amtek. Do not submit your resume multiple times, but if you feel you are complaint in multiple streams indicate this in the email. The body of the email message will automatically be populated with the following text "I consent to the use of my resume, for Amtek to conduct a review of my skills against ongoing requirements. I understand Amtek will never disclose this personal information to any third party without obtaining my consent to do so. Further I understand Amtek will take the necessary precautions to prevent the inadvertent disclosure of this information."
