The Company and its Culture AMTEK employs a full time staff of 95 qualified engineers, technologists and project managers, supported by clerical and administrative staff working at the Ottawa office and at various customer offices across Canada. Additionally AMTEK has numerous subcontractor and associate relationships, which allows us to extend our reach and service delivery capabilities. These people provide project management, technical support services, aerospace and marine engineering support, information technology support and development services, primarily for the Department of National Defence, Canadian Coast Guard, Industry Canada, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Public Service Commission, Heritage Canada, the Ontario Government and the City of Ottawa and Toronto. The engineering and management group has expertise in electronic hardware and firmware design encompassing Circuit design in digital and analogue electronics, mechanical engineering, test and measurement, reliability, and quality assurance. AMTEK prides itself on providing the right resources to our clients, and has been successful in maintaining long-term relationships with employees and subcontractors and in fact has employees who have worked for the company since 1984. Our organizational structure is project driven, allowing all assignments to be supported by a structured project support facility that is routinely audited by PWGSC to ensure compliance and compatibility with their processes and guidelines. This monitored facility has a security clearance to the level of NATO Secret and all employees and subcontractors have a minimum level of Secret or hold a Reliability Status (Enhanced). Management System (QMS) is certified to the ISO 9001:2000 international
standard and is registered by CGSB (Certificate 021076). The company
is focused on customer satisfaction with our services and products,
and uses the principles of continuous improvement within all processes. |
