Challenge
of GOL and ESL
AMTEK has developed e-Government strategies in both development models
and in solution frameworks that address the unique challenges that
face the Canadian Government's vision of getting to 'Smart Government
in 2004' In providing these professional services AMTEK will assist
Federal, Provincial and Municipal government bodies in achieving the
goal to be known around the world as the government most connected
to its citizens, with Canadians able to access all government information
and services on-line at the time and place of their choosing. All
federal government agencies have now submitted an on-line action plan
to the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat to meet the Government
On-line (GOL) mandate. Provincial and local government departments
are also developing on-line strategies to effectively plan and implement
electronic service delivery (ESD) initiatives. AMTEK has qualified
at all levels of government to be a supplier of key professional services
and continues to break new ground in its ability to be an effective
solution provider to public sector.

Strategy
As all levels of government in Canada commit fully to the delivery
of services electronically, including increased use of the Internet,
there is a significant need for public and private sector collaboration
to make this vision a reality. AMTEK has introduced dedicated business
units which are focused on servicing public sector partners in developing
reliable, scalable, intuitive solutions that focus on information
that is leveraged with cutting edge Internet technologies in developing,
integrating, and managing cost effective solutions.
